As a childcare provider you are running a small business. With this comes alot of legal requirements, legislation and other areas that may not be that familiar to you. To help you make your business a success Walsall Early Years offers a Business Support Manager who can help you navigate any areas that you may want a bit of extra help. We help promote your business to potential users and also work with the Training Department to arrange a variety of training for childcare workers. To do this we send you forms to collect up-to-date information about your service and staff. We ask for information such as costs, opening hours, etc as this is the information that parents and carers ask us for. We use details about your staff to enable us to make sure that we put on the right training. Therefore it is very important that we get this informaiton back.
We can also give you advice and information for you and your parents on their childcare costs, services that they may need and much more. Please contact Walsall FIS for more information.
We have a Training Department that offer a varied and comprehensive training programme to people who work in Walsall settings. We cover mandatory training such as Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding, other training that will help develop your provision and training targetted at specific types of childcare.
