Walsall Council is committed to helping childcare providers in Walsall offer a high standard of care to the children they look after.

To help us achieve this, we offer a variety of training courses to professionals that work at Walsall settings. We also provide a number of conferences and network meetings for different types of childcare providers. The training on offer looks at all different areas of childcare sector and includes mandatory training such as Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding, practical and best practice training including Makaton and Beginning with Babies, SEN and disability specific like SEN code of practice and early intervention and training specifically for managers and their deputies.
